Sberbank participated in the 6th international conference “Russia-China: Main Trends in Financial Relations 2017”, which took place in Moscow on March 1.
At the request of the organisers, Sberbank arranged the participation of Chinese banks in the conference. The event was attended by high-profile bankers, financiers and sinologists from Russia and China, who discussed topics regarding the development of bilateral strategic economic partnership, cooperation between financial institutions, development and promotion of bank products, implementation of investment projects, issues of cooperation with stock exchanges, China’s policy on capital outfow, interaction between financial regulators of the two countries and general issues of interbank cooperation.
“Russia-China: Main Trends in Financial Relations 2017” has been held since 2012. It is traditionally attended by the key players of the Russian financial market and invited Chinese financial organisations. The event aims to enhance and strengthen cooperation between Russian and Chinese banks, bourses, insurance companies, payment systems, and bank cards, and facilitate the increase of trade turnover between both countries. This year it was attended by 80 delegates.
