First Season of "Music in Metro" Project Starts in Moscow

Musicians selected by the jury of experts will perform at the Moscow metro stations in March.

      The jury has already selected two hundred of the most worthy applicants. 15 stations will become part of the music project. Musicians will perform every day. They will play from 10 am to 5 pm and from 8 pm to 10 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 10 pm on weekends . During peak hours, when the metro is overcrowded, the performances are stopped for awhile.

      The project Music in Metro was launched in test mode on 25 May 2016. Since then, the passengers have listen to more than a thousand performances at the Kurskaya, Mayakovskaya, and Vystavochnaya stations.
