Free Transportation Will Be Provided During FIFA World Cup 2018 and FIFA Confederations Cup 2017

The Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin has signed the Decree of the Government of Moscow “on free passage along the routes of sporting events — FIFA World Cup 2018 and FIFA Confederations Cup 2017”, as the city administration reported to “Interfax” on Tuesday. “The right to free passage during the two major sporting events will be obtained by the spectators, volunteers and persons included in the lists of FIFA” - the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to his information, the decree determines the types of transport where the right to free passage will be applied. These include: special buses (shuttles) meant for the transportation of spectators, volunteers and the persons included in the lists of FIFA to the places of sports competitions; urban and suburban road transport (except for motor taxi) carrying out regular transportation of passengers and luggage on the tariffs regulated by the Moscow Government.
