Russian Academicians: This Country Can Easily Do Without GMOs for Another Century

The legislative ban on the use of genetically modified organisms in Russian agriculture is completely justified: the natural potential and land resources of Russia enable us to strive without genetic hybrids for next 50 to 100 years, experts of the Russian Academy of Sciences claim.

      With that said, the scientists have fully supported the ban on the use of GMOs in Russia.

      At the same time, Russians are anyway exposed to GMO, since we are still purchasing a wide range of products abroad, the experts remind.
