Slovac-Moscow Business Forum
26.03.2017 12:01

A Russian-Slovak business forum was held in the Embassy building of the Slovak Republic in the Russian Federation. The event was timed to the official visit to Moscow by the Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Lukas Parizek. The forum was organized by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in the Russian Federation and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 2016, relations between Russia and Slovakia in the sphere of export-import operations decreased by approximately one third compared with 2015.  However, recently there is an observed tendency toward the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Based on the results of the forum, working negotiations between business representatives of Slovakia and the Russian Federation were held.
