The number of tourists from Russia in Estonia increased in January 2017 by 15% compared with January 2016, the Estonian Statistics Department said on Monday. They accounted for 29% of the total number of foreign tourists; this is approximately less in half than the total number of visitors coming from the whole European Union (62%).

      In January, 192,000 domestic and foreign tourists stayed at hotels in Estonia, which is by 8% more than a year ago.
