Muscovites Pay Tribute to Victims of Terror Atack in St. Petersburg Metro

Moscow dwellers are bringing flowers to the Leningrad, the Hero City memorial to hold a memorial service for those killed in the explosion.

      Muscovites are carrying red carnations to the Alexander Garden near the Kremlin in the heart of Moscow. According to those who came to the memorial, it is an opportunity for them to support the residents of St. Petersburg.

      A blast happenned on the runway between the metro stations "Sennaya Ploshchad" and "Technological Institute" at about 2:30 pm today. According to preliminary information, the homemade bomb was stuffed with subprojectiles.

      10 people have been killed and 47 injured, with 39 of them hospitalized.

      The investigative and operational group is working at the scene. A criminal case has been opened under the article "Terrorist Act".

      Saint Petersburg will go into three-day mourning from April 4.
