Asian Tourists Prefer Russian Cruises

The number of tourists from Asia visiting Russia on cruise ships has grown by a quarter, as the Deputy Head of the Russian Federal Tourism Agency Sergei Korneev told to reporters on Tuesday. “We note a 20-25% increase in the number of Asian tourists visiting Russia during sea cruises.

      These are international cruises calling in Moscow and St. Petersburg and the trips to the Arctic. There is also a growing demand for cruises along the rivers of Russia, a special activity is shown by the tourists from Vietnam” - S. Korneev told. He also noted a growing interest to cruise tourism among the tourists from Asia in the Far East.
