AvtoVAZ Increased Sales

AvtoVAZ has increased the sales of “Lada” cars on the Russian market by almost 13 percent, up to 25.1 thousand pieces, in March. In March of last year the Volzhsky car-making plant sold about 22.3 thousand cars of the domestic brand (the company also assembles the cars of the Renault-Nissan concern).

      At the same time, the sales of “Lada Xray” exceeded three thousand cars, which is almost twice as much as last year, six thousand “Lada Vesta” cars were sold (a 31-percent increase, as compared to March of last year). According to the results of the first quarter, about 61.5 thousand of passenger and commercial “Lada” cars were sold in Russia, which is eight percent higher than last year’s indicator for the same period.
