From April 10, the First Channel of Russian TV starts broadcasting The Raid, an analogue of the cult French thriller.
Braquo has already won Emmy Award in the category of drama series. Its fourth season has been released in France.
The plot hinges on the attempts of four members of the judicial police to prove the innocence of their friend. The friend was charged with a crime that he was not involved in, and then committed suicide. His friends find out all the details in the quest of justice, and sometimes even have to break the law.
The Russian version of Braquo, The Raid, features the film stars Vladimir Mashkov ("Liquidation"), Lukerya Ilyashenko ("Sweet Life"), Alexander Pal ("The Cloth Union"), and Denis Shvedov ("Major"), as well as Yekaterina Rokotova, Andrei Smolyakov, and Alexandra Rebenok. The Russian TV series has been directed by Karen Oganesyan ("I'm Staying").
