New Heating System for BN-1200 Nuclear Reactor Developed in Urals

Scientists of the Ural State Mining University (USMU) have developed a new nuclear reactor heating system, which is planned to be installed at the fifth power unit (BN-1200) of the Beloyarsk Nuclear Power Plant in the Sverdlovsk Region. This was reported by the press service of the university.

      "The gas heating system successfully tested at the real object of the fourth power unit (BN-800) of the Beloyarsk NPP, is universal and suitable for the heating of any BN-type reactor", - the report reads.
