In case of persistence of current oil prices, the dollar rate may soon rise to 63-64 roubles, by the end of the year it should reach 68 roubles. This was told by the Head of the Ministry Maksim Oreshkin. In his opinion, the current moment is very profitable for currency purchase by population.

Oreshkin added that in case of persistence of the present exchange rate, the Ministry expects the Bank of Russia to perform a larger rate cut. This, in turn, can cause the strengthening of major currencies against the rouble.
