"Rosa Khutor" Resort Opens Summer Season

In the mountain resort of Rosa Khutor in Sochi, the winter season 2016-2017 lasting 129 days finished.

      The season opened on December 16, 2016 and ended last weekend. During this time the resort has received about 800 thousand visitors.

In the winter season, three new ropeways started to work on Rosa Khutor: the 8-seat gondola "Dryada" and "Tundra" in the circus Ober Khutor, as well as the six-seater chairlift "Edelweiss" on the Southern slope.

17 km of additional ski slopes were opened, most of which are  located on the southern slope of the Aibga Ridge. The total skiing area of the resort as a result was more than 94 km.

The summer season for "Rosa Khutor" will open on April 28. A year-round resort offers such activities as climbing to the highest viewing platform in Sochi - the stone pillar (2509 m), hiking routes along the mountain slopes and the Aibga ridge, mountain bike trails, horseback riding, yoga at an altitude of 2320 m, "Panda Park", health trail and beach recreation area Rosa Beach in Rosa Valley, active games at various resort sites and much more.
