Nanoparticles Accelerating Plant Growth Created in Krasnoyarsk

Siberian scientists have presented Russia's first project on developing biogenic nanoparticles that accelerate the growth of crops. It is also focused on pest control.

When processed  with nanoparticles, the seeds showed significant increase in their growth rates, as well as the length and number of plant roots.

According to the science vice-rector of the Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University, Valentina Bopp, the technology created will remove pesticides from plants, as well as decrease the cost and increase the level of grain production.

The treatment with nanoparticles is absolutely safe, scientists believe. These elements are absolutely identical to those generated in soils.
