The Moscow Central House of Writers has hosted the Big Literary Award ceremony.
This year it has become objectively "poetic". The Russian Union of Writers has announced seven winners. Three of them have been honoured with the award for their books of poetry, and one – for a poet’s biography.
The winners are the political polemic writer Vladimir Bushmin, military writer Nikolai Ivanov, literary critic Sergey Kunyaev, writer and philosopher Eudoxia Luchezarnova, poets Vladimir Molchanov and Yuri Perminov, as well as the prose writer Mikhail Popov.
According to the poet and philosopher Eudoxia Luchezarnova, she is touched by the fact that the Writers Union has appreciated her contribution into the literary heritage of this country. Her book of poetry under the title "The Time of Russia" includes poems covering various "epochs" of her creativity. The writer stressed that she has had the intention to convey the greatness of her Motherland.
