Singer from Krasnodar Hits Shortlist of  Junior Eurovision Song Contest Selection

13-year-old schoolgirl Glafira Leukhina has made it into the final stage of selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. In total, about 20 contestants will take part in the Russian final. Nearly 50 representatives of practically all regions of Russia competed in Moscow for the right to continue the selection.

      Glafira Leukhina has become one of the lucky ones chosen by the jury. The girl goes in for solo singing at a children's art school in Krasnodar. The young musician performed the song Moments of her own composition. Last year the schoolgirl participated in the TV project Solo. Children.

      The final of the qualifying stage of Junior Eurovision will be held at the children's center "Artek” in Crimea on June 3. This year the children's song contest Junior Eurovision will take place in Georgia on November 26.
