Specialists of the Kurchatov Institute have created a unique system of wide-scale gene expression analysis.

      OncoFinder can analyze large amounts of data in bio medicine with the purpose of solving oncology issues.

      The breakthrough system has been developed by the Institute’s leading researcher, Mr. Bouzdin. According to him, it is the first ever integral system that enables experts to calculate the quantitative activation of intra-cellular biochemical processes.

      "Thereby, we will be able to select the necessary medicine that helps to block negative processes or to strengthen positive ones," the researcher commented.

      The OncoFinder system has already been introduced into medical practice. Thus, such therapy has been applied to several hundred patients in individual studies. Now the developers expect their innovation to spread all over Russia, as well as far beyond its borders.
