In April 2017 Russian Tourists Preferred Antalya

The number of Russian tourists who visited Antalya in April compared to last year's indicator increased 7.5 times, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reported on Thursday with reference to the information of the provincial tourism council.

"In April 2017, Antalya hosted almost 443,000 organized foreign tourists, that exceeded the figures for the same period in 2016 by 48% .The Russian tourist flow showed the greatest dynamics: the number of our compatriots increased 7.5 times," - ATOR reports.

      The growth of the tourist flow from Germany made 9% (169 thousand organized tourists). At the same time, the third largest market, the British, showed negative dynamics: minus 6%. In April, 22,000 tourists from the United Kingdom visited Antalya, a year ago, that number was 23.5 thousand.
