Silmarillion Opera Live in Moscow Metro Tonight!

The Elvish language opera based on John Tolkien's books will be performed at the metro station Business Center on the night of May 12 to 13.

      The opera will commemorate the legendary author of Silmarillion and Lord of the Rings, John Tolkien, said the head of Moscow metro, Dmitry Pegov. According to him, the opera will be performed in the elven language, accompanied by the Presidential Orchestra of Russia. Some of the invitation cards to the unique event will be raffled on blogs of the Moscow metro in social networks. A live webcast of the opera will be provided on the metro's official website.
