Finance Ministry Will Purchase Less Currency In May

The Ministry of Finance of Russia will purchase eight times less currency, than a month earlier due to the revaluation of the oil and gas revenues.

In April the Finance Ministry allocated 69.9 billion roubles for the purchase of currency on the domestic market, but the excess profits obtained at the end of the month were 46 billion roubles less than it was planned. Obtaining 54.5 billion of additional revenue is awaited in May, as the materials of the Ministry noted.
