The Russian Government will allocate more than 80 billion roubles to support industry in the current year. This was stated by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during a meeting of the Cabinet, as TASS reports.

The Head of the Government stressed the growth of industrial production, in particular, of manufacturing industries. According to him, state support aims at stimulating further growth of the sector. The allocated funds, as the Prime Minister noted, will be spent to support engineering, light industry and other manufacturing industries. In addition, it is planned that the money will be spent on provision of the companies with accessible loans, as well as on import substitution and the creation of modern production units in Russia.
