Today, June 6, 2017, maestro Pavel Kogan is celebrating his 65th birthday. His art has been admired by music lovers around the world for more than forty years.
In 2011 Pavel Kogan was included into the list of 10 greatest conductors of the 20th century, compiled by the British television channel Classical TV.
Since 1989, the maestro has been the Art Director and Principal Conductor of the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra, which became one of the most popular and respected Russian symphony orchestras.
The maestro is going strong and creative on his jubilee. On June 19 he will conduct the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. The program of the First, Eighth and Fifth Symphonies by Beethoven will become the grandiose finale of the concert season 2016/2017.
