First Ever Cryology and Cryosophy Institute Founded in Tyumen to Study the Arctic

Leading scientists from various countries will carry out research of the Arctic regions.

The world's first Cryology and Cryosophy Institute has been founded on the basis of the Tyumen State University. Leading scientists from different countries will jointly conduct research of the Arctic regions. Academician Vladimir Melnikov, scientific supervisor of the Cryosophy Department at Tyumen State University, reported about this.

“We are not going to work all in one premise with laboratories. These leading specialists from all over the world work remotely and participate in solving the tasks that we set and use their own base, which is valuable”, - the source said.

Specialists and students of the University annually organize various expeditions in the framework of research projects.
