Progress MS-06 to Deliver Nano Satellites to International Space Station

The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the cargo spacecraft Progress MS-06 has started from Baikonur.

      The docking with the International Space Station is scheduled for June 16 and should take place at 14:42.


      Progress MS-06 will deliver nearly 2.4 tons of various cargoes to the International Space Station. Dry cargoes, fuel, water, compressed gases, as well as equipment for scientific complex experiments are on board the spacecraft. Two nano satellites Tanyusha-YuZGU, as well as nano satellites Sphere-53 and TNS-0 # 2 are among the parcels.


      Docking with the ISS should be on June 16 at 14:42 Moscow time. Russian cosmonaut Fiodor Yurchikhin will monitor the automatic process from the station.


      It will be the second Russian cargo ship launched to the ISS this year.
