Russian Railways Will Increase the Number of Sapsan Trains In Summer

“Russian Railways” OJSC forecasts an increased demand for trips in high-speed “Sapsan” trains in the summer of 2017. This is due to the FIFA Confederations Cup held in 2017, the organization of major festivals and other cultural events in Moscow and St. Petersburg. In order to cope with the increased demand, Russian Railways will increase the number of Sapsan trains in summer.

13 pairs will be running daily, and the number of trips will be increased up to 15 pairs during peak periods (from June 9 to June 12, from June 15 to July 2, and later - on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays), according to the press service of the carrier .
