Kinotavr 2017: Prizes and Winners

 June 14 saw the award ceremony of the 28th Russian film festival Kinotavr in Sochi.

      The Best Film awarded the Grand Prix of Kinotavr is Arrhythmia directed by Boris Khlebnikov.

      Actor Alexander Yatsenko, who played the main character in Arrhythmia, has become the Best Actor.

      Actress Inga Oboldina has won the prize for the Best Female Role.

      Rezo Gigineishvili with his drama The Hostages has become the Best Director.

      The Best Debut prize goes to The Closeness directed by Kantemir Balagov.

      Blockbuster by Roman Volobuyev has received the Special Diploma of the Jury. The director, however, asked to remove his name from the screen credits on the very first day of the festival.
