In particular, D. Medvedev announced plans to build a runway at Domodedovo, the main taxiways, and a network connecting taxiways. Speaking about investments in the development of Sheremetyevo Airport, D. Medvedev said that in total they will amount to almost 150 billion rubles. He noted that, in addition to the construction of a new runway, it is also planned to build a new passenger terminal B, an underground interterminal junction, new cargo and fuel-filling complexes.
According to the Prime Minister, the Sheremetyevo infrastructure modernization program, implemented with the support of the federal budget, will increase the passenger flow to 80 million people per year. Speaking about the modernization of the Vnukovo airport, the head of government said that this year it was planned to complete the construction of the Vnukovo-3 heliport and the station complex for domestic flights.
