Single Register Of Deposits Of Russians May Be Created

The Bank of Russia proposes to create a single register of deposits of Russians on the basis of the portal of state services. This was reported by the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Dmitry Tulin, according to Rambler News Service, on Monday, June 26.

According to him, a system of control of citizens will be created on the web-portal which is now being used by 90 million people. “The web portal of services will grant an access to the database kept by the Bank of Russia, so it will be possible to check if deposits were entered into the register or not” –Tulin said. As a result, unscrupulous market participants will be more likely to be exposed, and the motivation to commit crimes will decrease, as the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank noted.
