Taron-Avia Will Fly From Domodedovo To Gyumri

Armenian private airline Taron-Avia opened flights from the second largest city of Armenia Gyumri to Moscow's Domodedovo airport.

      Until July 23, the carrier will perform flights once a week, then - twice a week, reports Domodedovo. "In 2016, the passenger traffic from Domodedovo to Armenia and back amounted to more than 596 thousand people.For 5 months of 2017 the number of air travelers in this direction increased by 13.3%, exceeding 230 thousand passengers," the airport said. At present, Moscow-Gyumri flights are performed by the Russian low-cost carrier "Pobeda". Gyumri Airport is located 120 km from Yerevan, positioning itself as an airport for low-cost carriers.
