Russian Smeshariki and the Chinese media holding CCTV will take up production of animation series Krosh and Panda.

      It has been reported by the official site of the RF Culture Ministry.

      The contract has been signed within the business visit schedule of the Chinese President Xi Jinping to Russia. According to the Russian Culture Minister, Vladimir Medinsky, “cooperation between Russia and China in the sphere of animation production offers great opportunities for both the countries”.

      The largest media holding CCTV, China and the Russian corporate group Ricky, which promotes the Smeshariki brand, will be engaged in the series production.
