Russian Astronaut Sergei Ryazansky Plans to Blog from ISS

The Hero of the Russian Federation, testing cosmonaut Sergei Ryazansky, spoke about the growing popularity of social networks. Therefore, he is going to write about his work in plain language in online communities.

“When I flew in 2013-2014, we practically did not blog at all, up to the point that officially it was not really approved. Now this is an urgent necessity, because part of our work consists in popularizing the science and cosmonautics, as well as communicating with young people” – the astronaut explained.

This idea has been supported by his foreign colleagues.

The crew of three will start off from Baikonur to the ISS on board the Soyuz MS-05 on July 27. The group will include Roscosmos testing cosmonaut, Sergei Ryazansky, the US Air Force Colonel, NASA astronaut Randolph Breznik, and the Italian engineer, ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli.
