A complex for superheavy rockets will be developed at the Vostochny Spaceport in the Amur Region.
This was reported by the head of the Roscosmos state corporation, Igor Komarov.
According to him, the Moon program depends directly on the development of a super-heavy-class launch vehicle. He also said that the corporation is accelerating the speed of engineering a superheavy rocket. Implementing the mission to the Moon may become possible in 2030, the head of Roscosmos pointed out.
The Angara-A5M heavy-duty rocket, which is scheduled to be launched from Vostochny in 2021, is ready to launch a full-fledged spacecraft for the first time, Ilya Komarov added.
