The People's Artist of Russia, singer Tamara Miansarova, aged 87, died in Moscow. This was announced by her husband Mark Feldman on Thursday, July 13.
Tamara Miansarova was hospitalized with pneumonia on July 6 and died at the First City Hospital on Wednesday night.
Tamara Miansarova was born in the city of Zinovievsk of the Ukrainian SSR on March 5, 1931. After graduating from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire, where she majored in the piano, Tatiana Mansarova worked as an accompanist in GITIS. However, she soon switched to stage music and began performing as a solo singer.
Russian singer, the People's Artist of the RSFSR, Lev Leschenko called Tamara Miansarov “the singer who voiced the era of the late 1960s and early 1970s”.
