Exhibition for Marc Chagalls 130th Anniversary Runs in Perm

Perm Central Exhibition Hall is holding the exhibition La Bible dedicated to the Old Testament stories. The exposition presents 64 bright multi-color lithographs by Marc Chagall. The art works are accompanied with biblical texts describing each particular story. This reveals a lot about the artist's creativity and his unique vision of the Holy Scripture.

Twenty-four lithographs from the series "Windows of Jerusalem" are sketches of stained glass windows for a hospital synagogue in Jerusalem.

The exhibition opened on July 7, the 130th anniversary since the artist’s birth and will last till August 13.
