The plan of the Ministry of Economic Development for increasing labor productivity provides for employment reduction by 30-40 percent. This was told by the Head of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (ITUS) Mikhail Shmakov, as Rambler News Service reports.
According to him, a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich was held on July 20. The materials of the meeting featured the indicated figures. This information was denied by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Maksim Topilin. “The meetings have been held, I also watched these materials, they are open, not closed” - he stressed. “I do not remember that anything was written about 30 percent ... at least, in the materials read by me”.
