Flydubai will double the frequency of flights to Dubai from the Samara airport Kurumoch (part of the holding "Airports of the regions") - up to four direct scheduled flights a week, the airport press service reports.

In the winter schedule of the Samara airport, which will enter into force on October 29, 2017, there will be regular flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Previously Flydubai performed regular flights twice a week. Transportation of passengers will be carried out on Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The report says that in the first half of 2017, passenger traffic along the Samara-Dubai route increased 2.5 times, to 17,000 passengers. "One of the main reasons was the decision to simplify the visa regime between the UAE and Russia: from February 1, 2017, Russian citizens planning a trip to the UAE do not need to issue electronic visas in advance, they are issued upon arrival to the country, and free of charge," the press-service informs.

Flydubai's route network consists of 97 destinations in 44 countries of Europe, Asia, and Africa.
