August 19 and 20 will see the international festival "Opera in Chersonese” held at the museum-reserve "Chersonese Taurian" in Sevastopol.
According to the organizers, the audience will listen to the famous arias from the operas Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky and Sadko and Snow Maiden by Rimsky-Korsakov. Moreover, compositions by Puccini, Bizet, and Rossini will be performed as well.
On August, 19, a gala concert will feature stars of the classical stage and on August, 20, young opera singers - the future of Russian opera – will perform.
Organizers expect about three thousand people to visit the event.
