Ministry of Economic Development Signed an Agreement With Sberbank

Sberbank and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation signed an agreement on providing subsidies to public joint-stock company Sberbank of Russia from the federal budget to compensate for income which has not been received from loans issued in 2017 to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at concessional rates.

      The programme is a state-run financial support mechanism for SMEs and is carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

      Sberbank can issue a maximum of 20.8 bln roubles of loans at concessional rates in 2017.
