"Sweet traditions" Of Tula

Gastronomic brands of the Tula region will be presented to tourists on the route "Sweet traditions". 

      The route includes a visit to the museum of printed gingerbread and the tasting room of the Belevian pastille in Tula.  An interactive tasting program will be devoted to the history and manufacture of the Belevian pastille.

      In total in the Tula region there are about 25 gastronomic brands - from gingerbread and pastille to birch kvass. Currently, an agreement has been reached to include Tula brands in the "Gastronomic Map of Russia" project. A number of food industry enterprises also conduct excursions on their own. You can visit the factory of the pastille "Old Traditions",  the production of gingerbread "Honey Traditions", Tula Dairy Plant "Bezhin Lug". 

      In 2016, the Tula region was visited by more than 2.2 million people. In total there are 226 tourist routes in the Tula region and 114 interregional tourist routes.
