India Day in Russia

The celebration of India Day in Russia will be held in Moscow Sokolniki Park on August 12-13, the first secretary of the Indian Embassy in Russia Amarendra Parida informs. The festival of Indian culture will be held in Moscow for the fourth time. According to the organizers, the guests will have an extensive cultural program, including Indian dances and film screenings. Also people will be able to try Indian cuisine and buy handmade souvenirs.

      As part of the Day of India, Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to see a wedding ceremony. According to the manager of the festival Daria Kotvani, several pairs from Russia will take part in it. Couples decided to hold a wedding in accordance with Indian traditions.
