Musicians of the Omsk Philharmonic Society will perform at the 2^nd Chinese and Russian Culture and Art Festival.

      The festival started in China on August 5. The Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater, the Russian State Academic Symphony Orchestra. E.F. Svetlanov, the Igor Moiseyev State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble, the State Folk Music Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan and other Russian music groups.

      Omsk will be represented at the festival with the folk Instrumental quartet "Tarski Gate", balalaika player Viktor Shurygin, guitarist Konstantin Belyakov and two soloists - Veronika Barteneva and Eugene Romanov. Omsk musicians will perform folk songs and romances, as well as songs from Russian films. They will return to Omsk on August 19.
