How do the ideas of "new" and "old" coexist in modern design? What are the tasks set by Russian and foreign authors?
The Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art is hosting an exhibition of works by young designers from Russia, Germany and other countries. The exposition gives an idea of the trends dominating in the field of art design of everyday objects and interiors.
Visitors will see that the ever-changing design invariably remains connected with the historical context and traditional culture. The curator of the project, Albus Volkner, calls on viewers to abandon stereotyped thinking and realize the innovativeness of the presented objects.
Among the exhibits, there is an adhesive tape with baroque drawings, a "melted" lamp, a "pixel" carpet and a lot of other intriguing things.
