The Caucasus Reserve, located on the territory of Karachaevo-Cherkessia, the Krasnodar Territory and Adygea, has become one of the most popular natural objects of Russia among tourists, including national parks and reserves of Russia, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Lake Baikal (Irkutsk Region and Buryatia), Golden Mountains of Altai (Gorny Altai), Western Caucasus (Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Krasnodar Territory, Adygea) are the top 10 most popular tourist destinations in Russia from the UNESCO World Heritage List. Also in the number of the most popular objects were "Volcanoes of Kamchatka" (Kamchatka), the natural park "Lena Pillars" (Yakutia), "Virgin Komi Forests" (Komi), "Central Sikhote-Alin" (Primorye), the natural complex of the reserve "Wrangel Island" (Chukotka), the Ubsunur Basin (Tuva) and the Putorana Plateau (Krasnoyarsk Territory).
