 Burger King’s chain of restaurants has issued its own crypto-currency in Russia: it is titled voppercoin. It functions on the “Waves” blockchain platform. The company explained that the crypto-currency was named after the best-selling burger of the chain.

      A total of one billion voppercoins have been issued. Burger King does not exclude the possibility of an additional issue. The chain plans to transfer voppercoins to the buyers’s to crypto-currency purses after the visitor sends a scanned cheque. One voppercoin will be credited for each purchased “Vopper”.
