The 10^th All-Russian Film Festival of Actors-Directors "Gold Phoenix" has started in Smolensk today.

The competitive program has included 12 full-length feature film and nine short-length films.

"A number of special events will take place in the framework of the festival: demonstrations of the films “The Big” directed by Valery Todorovsky and Andrey Konchalovsky and "Two Women" in memory of actress and director Vera Glagoleva, as well as meet-the-artist events with the People's Artists of Russia, Valery Garkalin and Emmanuil Vitorgan.

Writer Arkady Inin, singer and actress Lyudmila Bodrova, stage and film actor Vasily Mishchenko, and People's Artists of Russia, Emmanuil Vitorgan, Larisa Luzhina and Valentina Talyzina make the festival jury this year.
