New Ecotourism Project Appears In Moscow Region

The Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region together with LLC "Central Suburban Passenger Company" is opening a new tourist project called "EcoElectricTrain". Its goal is to introduce tourists to the places of conservation and the natural attractions of the region. The presentation will take place on September 16, at the Savelovsky station. A series of railway tours is an interactive excursion program for "environmental" areas of the Moscow region. The idea of creating "Ecolectrics" is timed to the Year of Ecology in Russia.

The new project is aimed at developing an actual tourist trend - ecotourism. Together with the CTC, the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region intends to establish cooperation with nature reserves, farms and representatives of the region's eco-attractions. In the future, it is planned to expand the scope of the project and introduce passengers near Moscow with the wealth of natural attractions of other regions.
