Prima of London Ballet to Dance at Perm Opera and Ballet House

Natalia Osipova, the prima of the Royal London Ballet has become the prima ballerina of the Perm Opera and Ballet House.

      The world ballet star has signed a contract with the Perm Theater to participate in four productions of the new season, the director of the theater, Andrei Borisov, reports.

      The first performance starring Natalia Osipova took place on September 5. It was Giselle with her in the leading part.

      "I really like wonderful atmosphere in the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater, and the people who work here. I like that people here are really engaged in true art”, - the prima said.

      Since 2013 Natalia Osipova is the prima ballerina of the Royal London Ballet in Covent Garden, and one of the world’s 5 Top ballerinas. The winner of the Russian theater prize Golden Mask and Benois de la Danse, Natalia Osipova was earlier the prima of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow and the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg.
