The State Museum-Reserve "Peterhof" in Saint Petersburg has won the international award "European Garden".

      It is the winner in the nomination "Restoration, Improvement or Development of the historic park or garden at." The official ceremony of honoring the winners of 2017 was held on September 15 in Berlin, on the territory of the International Gartenausstellung IGA Berlin 2017. Other finalists of this nomination were: the gardens of Bodnant (Great Britain) and De Nieuwe Ooster (Netherlands). The goal of the European Association of Historic Gardens (EGHN) is to help preserve, improve and create high-quality parks and gardens in Europe.
