The Draft Federal Budget of Russia Has Been Approved by the Government

 The draft federal budget of Russia for 2018-2020 has been approved by the Government. This was stated by the Head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov. According to him, the budget will receive 400 billion roubles annually from the shares of state-owned companies and banks during this period.

      “What about privatization, in fact, we have taken into account the amounts not exceeding 10 billion roubles” - Siluanov said. The Minister estimated the additional budget revenues from raising excise taxes on petrol at 40 billion roubles. According to the draft budget, Russia’s budget deficit will amount to 1.33 trillion roubles, or 1.37 percent of GDP, in 2018 with revenues of 15.18 trillion roubles and expenditures of 16.51 trillion roubles. In 2019 the shortage of funds is expected to amount to 867 billion roubles, or 0.84 percent of GDP, the same shortage is to reach 960.3 billion roubles (0.87 percent) in 2020.
