Tula Region Will Develop Industrial Tourism

Tula region joined the Council for the Development of Industrial Tourism in Russia. Tula enterprises will be included in the federal industrial tourist map, the press service of the regional government reported.

      The council was established under the aegis of the Federal Agency for Tourism. It includes representatives of the Altai, Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Kaliningrad and Novosibirsk Regions, Tatarstan, Bashkiria, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts, Moscow, Nizhny Tagil and Zlatoust.

      Tula region in the Council will be represented by the chairman of the regional committee for the development of tourism Vladimir Allahverdov. According to him, the region has accumulated experience in integrating the enterprises of the defense-industrial complex into the tourist turnover, the development of industrial tourism in general. According to the head of the committee, industrial tourism is a promising direction for the Tula region.

      "Tula has always been called a city of masters, and we are proud of this honorable status.There are already a number of industrial enterprises in the region accepting tourists, for example, a dairy factory, a brewery recording on a tour for a few months in advance, but it is especially interesting for our guests to visit the factories of the defense complex" - V.Allahverdov's says.

      The Council will act at the federal level. Among its priorities is the creation of a federal industrial tourist map, which will feature the brightest objects of Russian regions.
